SSI Hearing Help!!!

On June 27th 2007 I went to a hearing because I been denied every since NOV. of 2002 for Anxiety and Depression and just got my decision notice in the mail and will like to no was it really approved because that was to quick. It's says

I approve the fee agreement between the claimant and his or her representative subject to the condition that the claim results in past-due benefits.


My determination is limited to whether the fee agreement meets the statutory conditions for approval and is not otherwise excepted. I neither approve nor disapprove any other aspect of the agreement.



Decision


Based on the Title XVI application for Supplemental Security Income field on November 20. 2002, the clamant has been disabled under section 1614(a)(3)(A) of Social Security Act since November 20, 2002.

The component of the Social Security Administration responsible for authorizing supplemental security income will advise the claimant regarding the non-disability requirements for these payments, and if eligible, the amount and the months for which payments will be made.

Hello and thanks for your reply. I and from Newark NJ and had a normal life growing up just like any kid or teen should have into 2 weeks after my 19th birthday I was lying in my bed and was about to go to sleep when out of no where my heart started to race out of no where and my body was feel of energy till the point I keep on getting up looking in the mirror and asking myself what is wrong with me and as I started to cry my whole head and hands started to shake, I was so scared out of my mind because this never ever happened to me before but through if I go to sleep I will feel better but that never happen, I tried to go to sleep for 2 days straight and couldn't and was very afraid to go downstairs with my family and tell them whats going on so I waited till the next day when my mother was alone and told her in tears that something is seriously wrong with me and I think I'm going crazy so she called the ambulance and that day that's I was told I have Anxiety, Social Phobia and Depression. I am on the medications Lamictal 125MG and EFFEXOR XR 75MG.

Thanks Olivia, I hope all go fine at your interview next week, I know you are very nervous but try to relax lol I was nervous out of my mind to at the hearing and what makes it so bad it was only use at the hearing in the waiting section which made it so crazy, My lawyer told me to just relax and everything will be OK and he said if it makes you feel any better the judge is blind I said what the .... lol I Know we not gonna win now lol he blind and I'm just a little nervous brick but all went well. I just called my lawyer 20 minutes ago and it's true I did got approved

I'm not familiar with this area of the law, but that certainly looks good. You'll have some back money coming to your if and when SSA rubber stamps you, which I'm sure they will. It's great that you have a lawyer.

dear Jerey girl,

I live in fl and have a hearing 8-8-07 for the same reasons, I just don't know what to expect or how to answer questions because I have a hard time finding the works to explain how bad I feel and what I can and can't do.  I say that because my mental treatment isn't all physcial but stressful in my interactions and dalily living.  Do U have any advice..
