Welcome to Healing Well and the A & P forum. Thank you so much for your input and I, too, am an RN so we now have a group of us.

Your story is sad but full of bravery.  You have a lot of grit dear friend and sharing here is very admirable of you. Thank you and please stay with us.  It is good to hear someone so positive about managing thier disability.

I am with Lyn and wondering how you are doing too?  I hope you feel comfortable and post here whenever you feel like you want to.

Hey Big Sis,

I am fine and we have just been missing each other.  I am off on another job interview tommorow.  Guess the first one did not pan out as no call back after interview. Can you imagine they would not choose me to be a fitness trainer...........lol?

I won't quit that easy, only looking for a few hours a week.

How are you, your posts sound great.

Glad you heard me, Howylncat. I do hope to be a continuous part of this new site I have discovered! I am also very glad to see you are also on Alzheimers page--I have my mom living with me and she is in the end stage of Alz. Her throat muslces are weak and she aspirates quite often. Alz. is I thik the absolute most cruel disease. No one knows how horrid it is until you live with it. I know all illness/ injury affects the entire family, but Alz. really hurts the family much worse than many other diseases I think. THanks- NewLifeRN

I am so sorry about your Mom ..yes I do know that pain I just lost Mom not to long ago and my dad is slipping now as well
I moved him here to a lil place not far from me so he is able to have some indepdance still but I have a bracelet for him if sundowning .....as this is alot bigger place

Yes I do hear you and I know that there are others like Kitt and RN that just know and feel what you are /have gone thru

You stay with us and I know you will be supported and held closely by this lil family
