Anyone know how long Zoloft side effects last? I've been on it for 5 days now and the side effects are awful!

its different for everyone. I noticed after 2 weeks most of them were gone or tolerable. It seemed to get gradually better after 5-7 days, meaning i felt better and better each day. I had horrible side effects at first. Heightened anxiety, panic, felt removed from reality, foggy, easily irritable, no appetite -- food was just awful everything tasted really bad, and so on...

It got a lot better though. I would try and hang in there. I dont know what side effects you are dealing with, but most go away or lessen.

I found the dry mouth and some mild nausea lasted on and off for years with me but the drug was working so well at the time it outweighed the side effects.

My daughter had horrible side effects to this meds. Extreme fatigue, nausea, she said her throat constantly felt open sad , the worst was the twitching which even after taken off the drug took 3 weeks to go away completely. She was only on the drug for a little over a month I believe and is on buspar currently.....hate to hear you are having them :( I know they are awful.
