Something To Think About

I thought I would post something and see what everyone thought of this... One of my best friends was rushed to the hospital with a major blood clot in her leg. She also suffers from anxiety attacks. I went to see her at the hospital and we got to talking about what happened to her. of course I started feeling some panic, wondering if that could happen to me. Then my friend said something that really made me think...She said that the pain in her leg,which caused her to collapse, was so intense and so sudden, that she KNEW something was wrong. She said it was NOTHING like when she has had panic attacks! There was no "What if this is something serious?" There was no "What is this strange tingling feeling?" There was no"Could this be a heart attack or a stroke?" She KNEW something was wrong! So, I thought to myself...If I can sit around for hours,days,and months, dwelling on a potential "heart attack","stroke","brain tumor",etc.. It probably isn't one of those things! If it was, I probably wouldn't still be here! And another big fear of mine has always been cancer. Well, my Aunt just died of cancer and she had no idea she had cancer until a routine check up revealed it. So, if someone who had cancer,had no clue that she had it, what makes me think I can predict it just because of a body twinge or strange tingle! Something to think about!

On the other side of the coin I thought it might just be by Health anxiety.....WOW wa I wrong .....TX's and plenty of C and R made me fully aware of making sure I know whats going on with me now BUT so far it is gone ..........
