i have a question?today I had a panic attack I have not left the house in three day's now and when my sister her two girls and my dad and mom came over I started to sweat really bad and the room started spinning and I felt like I couldn't breath.Do any of you do like this?

Dear Curley

Hello and I am sorry your having attacks when your in this position.

I do not have attacks as severe as that when my family stops over but I just have my children and grandchildren here so it is not very stressful.

I am sure someone will be along that can give you some good advice.

There are times that when family JUST drop in and throw my day out that I will do this like you

I am OCD and have a routine so if it is messed with I do go into stress mode .......anxiety starts and so does the sweating and shaking .......

Remember the PG does make us a bit prone to getting anxious very easily and for no apparent reason......the body fighting self ...not that other ppl with a/p are different they are not it just kinda feels like we are in a state of worry of any cause for breakout in sores or at least I get that way .......

I hope you are feeling better ...are you on anything for anxiety at all

I don't get them as severe at home, but when I am out and I have had a panic attack, I also feel like the room is spinning. This is a natural reaction to having too much carbon dioxide and adrenalin in your system, your body simply cannot keep this up so if you can persist with it and ride it through, then wonderful. If not, try simple breathing to encourage a bit more oxygen into your system and also try fanning yourself with a fan or something similar. Hope it helps.
