epsom salts draw water into the bowel and ease constipation..your bowel doesn't become reliant on it either like usual laxatives. they also use it sometimes for scope & pillcam prep....

went to the GP today because my legs have pitting oedema and I have had low albumin, protein and glubulin and have read that this can point to protein losing enteropathy and can be related to IBD.....
saw GP today and they don't want to treat at all until after the pillcam on the 6th June.. even after that they said they're not sure whether to treat or not.....
I know all about the old silent reflux.. my son had it severely and had a nissen done at 1 year old it was that bad...
