Jon My Doc said to use KY Jelly for the friction from the catheter. Sometimes the antibiotic ointment actually creates more friction. The KY totally relieved it for me. Good luck Buddy!...

Hi SurfingSpouse! Like many here I received the hospital velcro for the strap. It worked fine. I would recommend loose boxers for the catheter. Pads will work fine in boxer briefs but not well at all...
