I don't know. Some did do something. It just wasn't enough for me it was like it helped me halfway but not completely....
Ah I'm surprised doctor didn't have you try other biologics. I've been on all the ones available and none have worked enough. Simponi is helping but not enough so now I'm trying xeljanz....
Did you try the other meds (humira, entyvio, remicade, stelara) and they didn't work for you either? Just trying to see the likelihood this will work for me when none of the others did....
I just got approved for this. humira worked for a while and put me in remission but it came back. Remicade didn't work, stelara didn't work, simponi seems to be working a bit but it's bit bringing it...
definitely needs to go through your gastro doctor. i had to get prescription for acne antibiotics due to prednisone and my derm had to go through my gastro doc to make sure it's fine....
from my experience, it will take a few weeks, depending on how much you were on and for how long. good that it's working for you....
if you are going to use humira i would suggest you talk with your doctor to give you something to prevent your system from developing antibodies for it else it will stop working after a few months....
