MMM, I don't take it much anymore when I'm doing "ok". I did think it was helpful and still mix it in with all my other supplements and remedies when things get bad. So I would say it does help some...
IMO, lpr and gerd are almost hand and hand. Lpr effects the upper part of the throat, however you wouldn't be having issues of the upper throat if your bottom valve worked properly. Lpr is commenly...
electracat, Unfortunately digestive issues are all over the map to say, kinda like which came first the chicken or the egg. Lpr may not be your only issue, there's gerd, ibs, gastritis, etc., all of...
candybia, Proof is in the pudding.....more cons then pros. I believe stretta just isn't the answer for most. It is a good concept but it seems to cause more harm then good for most....
candybia, There's been a small handful of members here who have had the stretta procedure, so not to many. IMO, if i were to have any procedure I would lean toward the nissen, as it is the global...
electracat, IMO, lpr can be caused by both pepsin or acid, bile as well. I believe pepsin is more likely the cause of lpr. If you're a refluxer, you reflux regardless....no meds, you reflux acid, on...

Non-acidic reflux equals lpr, even taking ppi's you can/will still reflux it just becomes non-acidic instead of acidic....

arm, Wedderspoon has the highest quality control that I have found, the higher the active + the better it is. I put teaspoon in warm water and drink as a tea. I do it once in the morning and once at...
Andy, I have not had any surgery at all. I view surgery as a last resort and choose to try to control my gerd with meds and diet. Some days are better than others........
Andy, Here's my two cents...... Koufman: Most ppl either love her or well not so much. She focuses more on lpr then gerd, yes she may be more open minded to listen or even agree with you. She does a...
rickyhai, I was on and off them for about 10 yrs and on them steady for the last 3/4 yrs. I've recently stepped down to zantac 2 to 4 times a day....

To all, I also get serve pain on the right side on my spine, it shoots straight through to my front like a spear piercing me....
arm is right on again. Fast track didn't completely work for me, however some of his ideas did make sense as I was able to benefit some of them....
Some ppl (and most dr's) believe small herina won't cause you any problems. I believe mine causes me all kinds of hell. It can cause nausea (mine does at times) and ibs can cause all kinds of issues...
I would like to echo arm's opinion of the money grabbing Koufman......Koufman has NEVER offered anyone different treatment plans or pills different then any other GI doc.....sorry. Yes, Koufman had...

I get most of those symptoms also, I'm not sure if the root cause is gerd, hernia or IBS......but I get them....
If you have a hiatal hernia, I would avoid stretta and tiff. Nissen seems to be the best surgery if you have a hiatal hernia....
I'm still hoping to get back down to 30 mg once daily....
I was on 60mg dexilent 2x daily, I felt worse on that much ppi so I went back to 60 mg once daily. You have to have "some" stomach acid.........

I don't understand "no reading" on motility test...."if" you have motility problems a nissen may cause things to become worse....
