Try using a heat pack on it. Sometimes gas gets trapped otherwise it can be pain caused by the diaphragm. Try to do about 15-20 minutes of walking and see if that helps....
Was it a Nissen fundoplication? Try minced meat? I was able to eat mince slowly after 3 weeks. I did get spasms for many weeks after the surgery, it was quite painful, but slowly just dissipated....
Are you taking pain killers or eating bananas? If so stop them and up your intake of water....
